The service

Barbatana Studio is the custom-song service of Barbatana Productions, a music studio in Houston, Texas. You tell us your story in a guided interview, we draft the lyrics with you, and our producers review, refine and produce a finished song. By using Barbatana Studio you agree to these terms.

Your song is for personal use

Songs are created for your personal, non-commercial use: to play at your celebration, to share with the people it was made for, and to keep. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, please don’t sell or license the song, release it on streaming services or use it in advertising. If you need a song for a brand, a business or a public event, write to us and we will agree the right terms together.

What you share with us

You confirm that the names, stories and details you share are yours to share, and that you have permission from the people involved where it is needed — especially for anything personal about someone else. Please don’t include anything you wouldn’t want a songwriter and a producer to read.

We may decline or stop work on a request that is hateful, harassing or defamatory, or that would infringe someone else’s rights.

Originality

Every song is written for you from scratch. Songs and artists you mention guide the mood and style only: we don’t copy melodies or lyrics from existing songs, and we don’t imitate the voice of a real singer. We may adjust or decline requests that would require it.

How songs are made

First drafts of lyrics are written with the help of AI, then reviewed and refined by a Barbatana producer, who also arranges and produces the track. Delivery times we mention — usually 3–14 business days — are estimates; tell us your deadline and we will do our best to meet it. You can read how we handle your story in our privacy policy.

Payments

Barbatana Studio does not handle payments on this website. You will never be asked for card or bank details here.
